Bengaluru, Apr 1: The number of coronavirus infected people in increasing throughout the country day by day. Reports were making rounds that people belonging to a particular religion are more among the people who are dead due to this disease. That too after 10 people, who attended the religious programme that took place at Nizamuddin Masjid of Delhi, died all the states have declared high alert.
Rage is being expressed by netizens on social media against conducting a huge convention of 4,000 Muslims neglecting the coronavirus instructions of not holding meetings and conventions. People are also asking why the Delhi government and officials allowed such a programme to take place.
In the wake of this development, former chief minister CM and leader of opposition Siddaramaiah Tweeted on his account and said, "Diseases do not have religion. Coronavirus pandemic also has to be fought in the same spirit. It is a dangerous development that some people are trying to give communal colour to the war against coronavirus that the whole country is fighting against. Let us all be united during this testing times."
