New Delhi, Mar 31: A letter written by a 15-year-old to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting steps to be taken to make the country financially stable is doing rounds on social media.
The letter written by Abhinav Kr Sharma, a class 10 student of St Joseph’s Academy, Dehradun is on point. Sharma not just highlights how the coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdown is taking a toll on poor, but he gives a brilliant suggestion on helping the country recover from the economic slump.
Abhinav asks the PM to mandate all religious trusts, irrespective of religion, to donate 80 per cent of ‘God’s wealth’ to PM Cares fund, so that it can be used to help people who are affected most due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
“The world hasn’t developed any medical treatment yet, so we may take long time to maintain social distance. The health emergency will surely lead to a financial emergency, due to which beggars, labourers
etc will be on the verge of starvation. The lockdown may close small industries, factories and businesses. Unemployment may rise due to no business. Our government is also fighting strong and distributing all basic amenities which will make Government money empty soon,” points out Abhinav.
“I am sure God would be happy to bless us if this money saves God’s children. We will have more faith in humanity,” he adds.
The teenager has been following the Coronavirus pandemic and the implications of lockdown across various sectors closely. He says, his parents who both hail from a medical background are serving relentlessly on the field. They often share their experiences related to Covid-19 with him, he tells media.
