Udupi: Meals provided to needy by Guddeyangadi Friends

Udupi, Mar 30: As a lockdown situation is in progress in the country due to the deadly coronavirus pandemic, midday meals were arranged by Guddeyangadi Friends in association with district panchayat member, Geetanjali Suvarna to 25 residents of Udyavar and nearby places. Member of Guddeyangadi Friends and gram panchayat, Diwaker Bolje arranged medicines for several people in the village.

Members of Guddeyangadi Friends under the leadership of youth leaders Sachin Salian took up the initiative of helping poor people in distress in different parts of the village. District panchayat member, Geetanjali Survarna is completely cooperating with them. The team is prepared to supply meals, medicine and items of daily use to the needy poor every day. They began their noble work by providing medicine to more than 25 people on the first day.

Sachin Bolje, Diwaker Bolje, Sathish Poojary, Udaya Karkera, gram panchayat vice president Riaz Palli, members Kiran Kumar, Laxman Poojary, Sadashiva Kattegudde, Steven Colaco, Irfan Arooru Thota, Royce Fernandes, Prem Menezes, Mahesh, Anil, Pradeep, Kishore and others were present on the occasion.
