Mangalore: Srinivas College to hold Three-day Seminar for MBA Students

Mangalore, Nov 25: Srinivas College of Management Studies will hold three-day seminar, Mega India-09 on changing Indian business scenario for the first year MBA students of the institute from Wednesday November 25 to Friday November 27.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Y C Mishra, principal general manager of Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Wednesday November 25.
On the first day of the seminar, S M Hegde, assistant general manager of commercial section in BSNL will be resource person for the topic, trends and changes in telecommunications, on second day Raghavendra, assistant professor of MITE, Moodabidri will be resource person for the topic recent trends in Indian stock market and on the third day, Guruprasad, area manager of ICICI prudential, will be the resource person for trends and changes in insurance sector in India with A G Pai, chief executive officer of Mangalore Special Economic Zone attending as a resource person for the topic role of SEZ in industrial development.
At the seminar the students of MBA will also present several papers on various topics. Sonia Noronha and Sitaram V Sujeer, senior lectures of management department are the co-ordinators of the seminar, stated a press release from the college.
