Bengaluru, Mar 20: Two of the coronavirus-infected persons have recovered, and they would be discharged from hospital today. In the meanwhile, the number of people infected with this deadly disease has risen to 15 in Karnataka.
In separate press conferences they addressed, minister for medical education Dr Sudhakar, and health minister Sriramulu, have asked those aged below ten and above 65 to remain indoors. They also warned that licences of pubs which function in spite of government restrictions would be cancelled.

Both held press conferences in Vidhana Soudha. They informed that two among the infected persons have recovered fully."As per the protocol, both were subjected to tests twice within 24 hours, and both the reports were negative," they informed. They also said that these two persons would be discharged on Friday. "This has given rise to hope. People have to support the government by taking additional precautions," they requested.
There are 53 medical colleges in the state including 17 owned by the government. It has been decided to utilize the services of the surgeons in these colleges for regulating coronavirus for a month, they stated. They also explained that the government had decided to ban incoming international flights into the city for a week and the central government including the Prime Minister have supported the state in this issue.
The government has formed a technical committee comprising eight experts including director of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Dr C N Manjunath, Dr Nagaraj of Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Dr Ravi of NIMHANS, and joint director of health and family welfare department. The government will procure things needed for Coronavirus operation, equipment, medicines etc only of this committee approve them, it was stated.
In view of the fact that coronavirus threat is expanding, the government has released another helpline which can be contacted for advice and instructions relating to coronavirus control. The citizens can call 080 - 46848600 or 080 - 66692000, So far, the number 104 could be dialled for state level and 1075 at the national level for this purpose.
