Bengaluru: SSLC students worried as decision on exam eludes them

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Mar 20: Under instructions from the union government, examinations for the students following CBSE and ICSE syllabus have been postponed. Sources in the state government said that a decision about SSLC examination being conducted by Karnataka State Secondary Examination Board would be announced after March 23.

Schools and colleges in the state were closed prematurely on account of coronavirus scare. University examinations have been put off till March 31. However, confusion prevails in respect of holding SSLC examination. This has left the students and their parents worried.

Sources clarified that the situation is being monitored and depending upon circumstances prevailing next week, a suitable decision would be taken.

PU examination

In the meantime, the PU department has instructed the second PU students not to enter examination rooms in groups. It said that the students should scatter and enter the rooms one by one. It has asked the examination centres to display time at which the candidate would be allowed to enter the examination rooms. If there is a provision for the students of different colleges to enter or where two gates are available, one of the colleges can be allowed entry at 9.30 am and the other at 9.45, it has suggested.

EVERY STUDENT BE GIVEN MASK OR LET THEY BRING ONE. THE EXAM CENTRES BE KEPT CLEAN AND ORGANIC PESTICIDES BE SPRAYED EVERY TIME THERE ARE EXAMS. STUDENTS EFFORT ALSO HAS TO BE APPRECIATED.
.PLEASE DONT MAKE THEM APPEAR AGAIN IF PAPERS ARE LEAKED. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BOARD. DONT PUNISH THE STUDENTS FOR SOMEONES MISTAKE. ALL THE BEST TO ALL STUDENTS OF SSLC. TAKE CARE.

Schools and colleges have been provided holiday. But why not the teaching & non teaching are not given holiday?? Is it that they won't be infected by this dangerous virus?? They are simply called to school and college sit from morning to evening and come back.
When students are not there, why do the staff have to attend school??

As I Know Most Of The Parents And Students Are Worried About The Examination.. But Even The Government Is Helpless As You All.. I Appreciate The Decision That The Education Minister Has Taken To Postpone These Exams Inorder To Be Protected From Spread of The Corona Virus.. Our Life Is Priority For Us That What Matters.. In Case If The Virus Gets Reduced In The State They Can Conduct The Examination.. So Students This Is Also A Golden Opportunity To Study And Prepare For Exam In Their Homes.. Don't Waste Time.. Right Decision Will be Taken Soon #Dont Worry #Study #Work Hard for Bright Future Ahead #All The Best
