Mangaluru: St Ann’s High School bids farewell to headmistress Sr Elena AC

Mangaluru, Mar 18: St Ann’s High School, Bolar organised a farewell programme for Sr Elena AC, the Headmistress of the School on March 17 in the School Hall for her loving and selfless service to the school and educative community in general. Sr Elena started her teaching career in Carmel High School, Haliyal. Since then, her career in the teaching field covered 33 years. She was at the helm as a principal and headmistress for 20 years in Carmel Composite P U College Modankap, Bantwal; Ladyhill Victoria Girls High School and St Ann’s High School.

Sr Elena is a person who shows remarkable composure, simplicity, great eloquence and has a deep knowledge of her subject and the world. Recognizing the sterling contribution to St Ann's High School over the past seven years the staff and non-teaching staff along with the joint secretary Sr Maria Kripa AC bid farewell to the retired headmistress Sr Elena AC.



In her message she said, “Teaching has been a part of me for as long as I can recall, I have had a very rewarding career. Being able to see the development of children into successful adults, gives me a sense of pride. You are all very special to me. Thanks to the people who have in any way contributed to my enjoyable years as a teacher."

She thanked the students, staff members, for their role in making her journey as a teacher a enjoyable and memorable one.
