Panaji: FC Chennaiyin official caught with drugs on final of ISL

Panaji, Mar 16: Goa Police on Saturday arrested an official of Chennaiyin FC official during the final of ISL match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda in South Goa.

Fatorda police station in-charge Kapil Nayak said that Bhushan Bagadia, an official photographer and social media handler of Chennaiyin FC team was arrested for possessing banned substance.

He said that the accused hailing from Bangaluru was found carrying 24 gms of ganja in his bag while entering the stadium during the final. The accused was frisked at the VIP gate where he was found to be carrying the narcotics, he said.

Nayak said that the accused was booked under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and was later released on bail later in the night.
