Huge waves were seen hitting the Anjuna beachline along with all the other major beaches but for the foreign and the domestic tourists it was just another day at the beach and were seen enjoying amidst the damaged shacks as a result of the Cyclonic wind storm which had left some effect on the Goan beaches.
According to the North Goa Collector Mihir Vardhan not much damaged was reported except for few houses being damaged in the Coastal areas of North Goa and a few incidences of trees being uprooted. According to the Malim fishing jetty officials around 30 fishermen went missing out of which four were rescued by the Coast Guard.
