Puttur, Mar 3: In a road accident which happened at Madla near Kavu on Monday February 2, Prashanth (29), son of Chandrashekhar Gowda from Markanja Jogimoole, lost his life.

Pashanth was moving towards the city in his two-wheeler when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus that was going towards Sullia hit him. A case relating to the accident was registered in the rural police station here.

Kavu area has been witnessing a series of accidents of late. In the last about ten days, three accidents have taken place in this area. The current accident at Madla happened about a kilometre away from Kavu junction.
