Mangaluru: Multilingual theatre festival to be held on Feb 23

Mangaluru, Feb 21: The drama troupe of Padua College has planned multilingual theatre festival under the aegis of Asthitva, Mangaluru and Logos Theatre troupe in the cooperation of Arehole foundation.

‘Papu Gandhi, Gandhi Bapu Aada Kathe’ drama will be enacted on February 23. Asthitva Mangaluru will present ‘Hangers’ drama. The maiden poem ‘Nanolagina Ninage’ written by Vijayalaxmi will also be released.



Konkani drama titled ‘Nagdin’ rewritten by Fr Alwyn Serrao will be performed by Logos Theatre on March 1. ‘Vinchovn’ Konkani drama will be enacted on March 8 and ‘Nagdin’ will be shown again on March 9. ‘Kendonians’ drama in Kannada of Padua Ranga Adhyayana Kendra will be performed on March 10. ‘Pedru’ Konkani drama will be shown on March 11 as part of conclusion.

Dramatists will be felicitated like last year. A press release requests for cooperation from all theatre fans.

All the dramas will be shown at Padua college open grounds, ‘Padua Theatre Hub’ free of charge.
