Bantwal, Feb 17: Asaasul Islam Students Association (R) Pallamajal and Blood Helpline Karnataka (R), in association with Indian Red Cross Society Blood Bank Mangaluru, in memory of Marhoom Imran and Marhoom Rasheed held public blood donation camp on Sunday, February 16 at Hayathul Islam Madarasa Hall Pallamajal near here.
The blood donation camp began with prayer by Khaleel Rahman Darimi and was inaugurated by Irshad Darimi Al Zahari, son of Marhoom Jabbar Ustad Mitthabail. “Every Indian, no matter to which caste, creed, and region they belong to, Islam does not entertain discrimination and when we start respecting the religious beliefs of other communities, no one can break the communal harmony prevailing between us, “he said.
Prominent journalist and social activist Ra Chintan was the special guest at the ceremony.
Ismail Usha, Haji Sahul Hameed, Shafi Mani, Nasir BC Road, CK Soofi Musliyar, Rafeek, Isak, Ismail Azhari, Mahammad Shareef Musliyar, Rafeek, Ramakrishna Alva, Sesappa Dasayya, Mahabaleshwar Hebbar, Shahul Talpadi, Munish Ali, Sunil Louis, Bashir Ashyafee, Ashraf, Satthar, Fayaz and Administrators of Blood Help Line Karnataka (R) were also present.
A total of 70 individuals donated blood, making it a successful blood donation camp at this region. Doctors and staff from Indian Red Cross Society, Blood Bank Mangaluru and members of Asaasul Islam Students Federation (R) & Blood Helpline Karnataka (R) coordinated, in collecting blood from donors.
