Kalaburagi: 30 students fall ill after consuming midday meal at govt school

Daijiworld Media Network - Kalaburagi (SP)

Kalaburagi, Feb 15: In an incident reported from Sedam taluk in the district, 30 students of the government primary school at Silarkot in the taluk were admitted to hospital after they fell ill.

The school children had consumed lunch in the afternoon. At around 4 pm, several among them began to suffer from vomitting and dysentery.

The parents of the children grew panicky. The parents and teachers got the children admitted into the community health centre at Mudhol where the children were provided symptomatic treatment.

When the number of children suffering from similar symptoms swelled, many were admitted to the government hospital at Sedam town.

There is notable improvement in the health condition of 25 children while the worsening condition of two students continues to give cause for worry, it is learnt.

Negligence on the part of the cooking staff allegedly gave led to the incident. Even in the past there were complaints of food with worms being served, it is said. Police inspector of Mudhol, Thimmaraya, visited the spot and undertook investigation.

This is where Shri Kejrival is miles ahead of other states. Instead of foreign tours, our Ministers must spend time in Delhi and take rudimentary lessons.

One has to be extra careful when its comes to preparation and serving of meals to the kids and little children, as their immune system is not all that developed and strong, unlike the adults, as they are very much vulnerable to unhygienic and expired date food items and thus could fall ill easily.

How does it affect any ministers? They get everything free; even after retirement.

Is this not the first priority of the government to provide safety, food, education, health to all children in parrticular? Where is the money going? Crores are spent per day on these ministers.

Shadi bhagya is for poor and one of the basic needs in one way. But still, i see it as a flaw.

But when shadi bhagya is a flaw, then what about free yatras and subsidised food supplies to religious places? You have to discard all of these without sparing anyone.
However, i am also against the governments using the funds of temples.

Chaddiyurappa is talking about five trillion economy and feeding rotten food stuff to children of Karnataka.

Wake up mudi goobe..First learn abcd of economy. Learn from Siddaramaiah. How he managed his foes and ruled for five years. Your whole time goes in pacifying your party people. Till now not a single development plan you have mooted except the worthless mass marriage programme.
