Mangaluru, Feb 13: Vishwa Hindu Parishad has claimed that in a case of rape attempt on madrasa students at Harekala in Ullal, innocent people have been framed.
It is said that three girls who were walking to madrasa at Malara in Harekala were stopped on Monday and rape attempt was made on these girls. Kiran, Gunapal, and Subhash were arrested and charged under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and murder attempt.

VHP said that the arrested people are not connected with the incident and that they were somewhere else at the time of the incident. Both Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Ullal units, have requested the city police commissioner and the district in-charge minister to take action against the police who have arrested innocent people in the case and are trying to frame them.
