Udupi: Bar owner murder case - Four accused arrested

Udupi, Feb 11: Four people were arrested on Tuesday, February 11, regarding the murder of Vashista Satyanarayana Yadav who was found dead at Bellampalli on February 10.

The deceased was the proprietor of Maya Bar in Navi Mumbai. He was found dead at Doddanagudde, Bellampalli, Hiriyadka police station limits.

The arrested accused have been identified as Sumith Mishra(23), resident of Hanumanpura, Delhi, Abdul Shukoor alias Addu (35), resident of Chokkabettu, Surathkal, Avinash Karkera (25), resident of Thenkamijar, Mangaluru and Mohammed Sharif (32), resident of Kunjibettu, Shivalli village, Udupi. While Sumith is a former employee of Maya Bar, the other three are employed in AKMS bus. It is come to light that Sumith had left the job after fighting with the deceased three months ago.

Brahmavar circle inspector Anant Padmanabha, sub-inspector Sudhaker Thonse of Hiriadka police station and staff ASI Gangappa, ASI Jayant, Yashwanth, Sadashiva, Raghu, Dinesh, Indresh, Basavaraj, Nithin, Rakesh Shetty, Bheemappa and Anand took part in the arrests under the guidance of SP Vishnuvardhan, additional SP Kumar Chandra and Udupi assistant SP Jai Shankar.
