London: Mangalorean Dr Manoj Veigas Gets MCEM

Mangalorean Dr Manoj Veigas, working as Registrar in Emergency Medicine at Lister Hospital Stevanage, got his Member of College of Emergency Medicine (MCEM).
 
Another honour he received at Royal College of Surgeons, London, is that of an instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) wherein he is entitled to give lectures on trauma all over the world.
 
In 2008, Dr Veigas got his MRCS degree in Accidents and Emergency Medicine from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (UK).
 
Dr Veigas had gained experience in Emergency Medicine by working at the famous Tunbridge Wells Hospital as well as Maidstone Hospital, Kent.
 
His wife Dr Amritha who did her PG in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Christian Medical College, Vellore, is presently working as a senior house officer at Whittington University Hospital, London.
 
Dr Veigas is the son of Joyce, retired manager of Vijaya Bank, and Dr P N Veigas, one of the leading veterinary practitioners of Mangalore, Karnataka.
