Mangaluru, Feb 7: In connection with the reported violation of procurement norms at Lady Goschen Hospital where rules were said to have been bent to avoid calling for tenders, former health minister and current MLA U T Khader, has written to the minster for health and family welfare, and also Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner, asking them to hold detailed investigation into the procurement of things by hospital authorities without calling for tenders.
In a letter that was officially sent on February 5, Khader has demanded for detailed probe into the purchase of items by the hospital authorities without floating tenders and to take suitable legal steps against the guilty.
