Bidar: Dream comes true - Airport set for February 7 inaugural

Bidar, Jan 31: HMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) and the state government entered into an agreement on Thursday January 30. As per this agreement, the airport here will be inaugurated on February 7. The flight from Bengaluru to Bidar on that date will be the first aircraft to use the facilities here.

GMRIAL has been given the responsibility of executing, maintaining, and managing the airport here. The government has approved this arrangement. The agreement between the state government and GMR will be valid till the year 2033.

Civil works costing Rs 12.28 crore being executed by public works department are now progressing fast at the airport.
