Mumbai, Jan 29: Damodar C Kunder (73) former director of Bharath Bank and former president of Billavara Association Borivli, here, local office passed away due to illness at his residence at Manu Co-operative Society apartment, J P Road, Andheri west on Tuesday afternoon.
He hailed from Malpe of undivided Dakshina Kannada district and was managing director of Sterling Manpower Consultants, proprietor of Silver Coin Hotel and was identified as famous entrepreneur.
He had moulded his life by determination and uninterrupted hard work and worked sincerely for the progress of the society. He had donated money to several educational and religious organizations. He has a wife, son and a daughter and left behind a large number of friends and relatives.
Bharath Bank directors and senior officials paid their respects at his residence and offered condolences to his family.
Bharath Bank office bearers, Billavara Association Mumbai and Borivli office bearers, local committee heads and several elite people expressed their condolences on his demise.
His last rites were held at Oshivara crematorium on January 28.
