Margao, Oct 9: After mesmerizing the music lovers with his debut album, ‘Buyao with Love’, which got a very good response, Sidhanath Buyao’s next new album titled ‘ Value of Colours’’, will be released on Saturday October 10, at the International Centre - Donapaula, Panjim.
Sidhanath, while addressing a press conference in a city hotel on Friday, announced that he will contribute the profit margin out of the said album, which will cost Rs.150 each, to Canacona Flood Relief Fund.
”I have introduced the postal order scheme for this album. Those who are interested to buy the audio CD can directly send me their desire to do so by SMS or email. After receiving the same, I will be sending the audio CD to their postal addresses. Profit margin of the CD will be contributed to Canacona Flood Relief Fund, he explained.
’Value of colours’ will be released at the hands of the minister for public works department, Churchill Alemao. Opposition leader Manohar Parrikar will be present in the capacity of the guest of honor.
The lyrics of this album have been provided by great poets like Bakibab Borkar and Manohar Rai Sardesai, in addition to Shreedhar Kamat, Gaurish Vernekar, John Aguiar and MLA Damodar G Naik.
The music has been composed by Sidhanath Buyao himself, and in addition to him, singer Nephie Rod has lent his voice for this album.
With a view to provide a plank to the upcoming singers, he has introduced two singers, Vinaykumar Raikar and Triska Fernades, through this album.
The album has been recorded at Buyao Theatres Goem.
