Mangaluru, Jan 24: The graduation day of Father Muller Medical College, Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences and Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing was held at Father Muller Convention Centre on Friday, January 24.
As many as 404 students were awarded their graduation certificates. St Johns National Academy of Health Sciences director Dr Paul Parathazam said, "It is a dream come true for all of you and those who walked in your journey. Always have a dream and dream big. Strive hard to reach your dream, undeterred by the obstacles that come your way. Believe in the beauty of your dreams, win or fail be the best. There is one life to live and love, never give up and be the best.”
Mangaluru diocese Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha said, "You students have brought laurels to the institution. It’s because of your hard work, you have successfully reached till here. Hard work is the inner core of success. You have acquired knowledge and inculcated good values. This institution has not only contributed to the knowledge field but also for charity. We have spent Rs 48 crore as charity to help the needy and the poor. You have promoted the culture of life and not the culture of death.”
The president’s gold medal was awarded to Dr Shah Nawaz M, best outgoing MBBS graduate for the year 2019 and also meritorious students were honoured for their academic performance.
St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences director Dr Paul Parathazam was felicitated.
Father Muller Charitable Institutions director Fr Richard Coelho welcomed the gathering and administrator Fr Ajith B Menezes proposed vote of thanks.
