In his inaugural speech J R Lobo said, “In business, especially when it is related to finance, the firm should win trust of its clients. Without trust, a strong relationship between firm and its clients is not possible. It is very difficult to run banks and co-operative societies. St Milagres Credit Souhardha Co-op Ltd has succeeded in gaining trust from its customers and today its service has spread across the coastal belt of Karnataka.”
“North Karnataka, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts are known for establishing strong financial firms. This is because the people of these districts know how to handle their money and how to avoid its misuse. They always support the financial firms for their benefit and at the same time it is indirectly helping many to get jobs and attain financial security. I appreciate the management of MCSC for their disciplinary service and steady growth in their business. Same time, I congratulate them for their new office at Kulshekar and wish they open many more in the future,” he said.
In his presidential speech, Roy Castelino said, “Nowadays it is not easy to run a financial organisation. The current market and financial condition of people is a big challenge for financial organisations as well as banks. Recovery is becoming very difficult and deposits are decreasing. So now every bank and banker thinks twice before expanding his business. But in the case of MCSC, there are no such challenges. This firm has won trust and has guaranteed customers. Customer friendly service is another remarkable feature of MCSC. This is very much needed in the current situation.”
“I congratulate the management and staff of MCSC for their new office. Hope they will continue their business expansion and one day they convert their firm into a full-fledged bank,” he added.
George Fernandes, managing director of MCSC gave a brief report of the society. Rosline Fernandes, president of MCSC, Prakash Bhandary, managing director, Udupi and Mangaluru region, Ronald Fernandes, branch manager, were present.
