Mangaluru: Third international conference held at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Jan 21: The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), organized the III International Conference on Monday, January 20, in Conference Room, Sophia Block, on the theme Innovation and Digitalisation – Strategies towards Global Collaborations.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr Sudhir Ranjan Sen Gupta, advisor, Manipal International University, Malaysia. The chief guest for the inaugural function was Dr P S Yedapadithaya, vice Chancellor, Mangalore University and Sr Dr Jeswina A C, principal, St Agnes College (Autonomous) was the president of the function and Sr Dr Maria Roopa A C was the guest of honour.



In his keynote address, Prof Sen Gupta discussed the innovation through digitalization in all aspects of corporate strategies and also in education. Chief guest Dr P S Yedapadithaya, vice chancellor, Mangalore University, exhorted the students to constantly adapt to change and use the opportunities they have to learn and progress without giving in to complacency and arrogance. In the presidential address, Sr Dr Jeswina spoke on the relevance of the conference theme in today’s world. Dr Catherine Nirmala was the convener or the conference and the inaugural programme was compered by Dolan Banerjee.
