Hubballi, Jan 11: Cyber Crime police of the city arrested a BJP youth leader of Pondicherry origin on the accusation of threatening to release the private photos and videos of him with his girlfriend, who is a distant sister in relation to him, with whom he was in love as the parents of his cousin sister refused to get him married to her.

BJP youth leader from Pondicherry Rocky is the youth who has been arrested by the cops in this connection. Rocky was in love with a girl who is in fact his distant relative and sister-like in relation. He was blackmailing the family members of the girl, who were against this relationship as the girl is like his distant sister in relation to him, that he will upload the private videos of him and the girl. Disgusted by Rocky's repeated threats, the father of the girl had filed a complaint in the Hubballi-Dharwad cybercrime police station.

The father of the girl is also of Pondicherry origin. He is in Hubballi since a long time due to work. But his family was living back in Pondicherry. However, after this incident, the whole family is shifted to Hubballi and are residing in a house at Mantoora Road.

Rocky was interacting with the girl freely as she was his distant relative from his mother's end. Both used to love each other. Rocky has made videos of their intimate moments. He pressurized parents of the girl repeatedly to give her in marriage to him. However, the parents of the girl were against this relation. Relation of Rocky and the girl was like that of a sister and brother. So the family members of the girl denied such a tie-up.

Enraged by the refusal of his repeated requests, Rocky released some of the private videos of him and his lover to her father's mobile. He also posted some on WhatsApp. It is said that he had also uploaded some on Facebook.

Now the BJP youth leader is in police custody.
