Mangaluru: Worried over deteriorating health, goldsmith ends life

Mangaluru, Jan 7: Harish (52) from Mannagudda in the city, who was a goldsmith working for a jewellery store in Car Street here, hanged himself in a room of the store on Monday January 6.

Harish was suffering from heart-related ailments. It is suspected that because of this worry, he decided to kill himself. He left home for work on Monday and ended his life between 9.30 and 10.30 am. The other workers in the store noticed this and called the police.

Bunder police arrived on the spot, noted down details, and registered case of unnatural death. Harish us survived by wife.
