Udupi, Sep 23: Eid-Al-Fitr was celebrated with veneration by the Muslim community brethrens across the district, on Monday September 21. Community prayers were held at various mosques, to celebrate the Eid-Al-Fitr, after 30 days of fasting and penance during holy month of Ramadan that began on August 22.
Financial assistance and food grains were offered to the poor community brethren, in order to share the joy of Eid-Al-Fitr, on this occasion.
Popular Front of India (PFI) also distributed free foodgrains and pulses to the poor community brethrens across the district.
Katpady Jumma Masjid Khatib Al-Haj Basheer Madani, in his Eid-Al-Fitr message to the entire community, urged them to set an example to others by getting indulged in worthy deeds throughout their life. He also prayed to the divine, to bless the people from all over the world, with abundant happiness and peace.
The community residing in Muloor, Ucchila, Kaup, Padubidri, Shirva, Mallar, Majoor, Udyavar, Yermal and other villages celebrated Eid-Al-Fitr, through community sharing.
