Bengaluru: Drunk man kills colleague with bare hands

Bengaluru, Jan 3: In an incident which occurred within the limits of Peenya police station here on the night of Wednesday January 2, a person killed his colleague in a drunken state.

Byadarahalli Thippeswamy (62) lost his life in this incident. The accused, Sanjay Yadav (38) form Bihar stands arrested.

Both were working as security guards for a generator solar factory in the 16th cross Peenya Industrial Area. Within sometime after Thippeswamy reached the factory premises to work in the night shift, he and Sanjay were seen fighting with each other. Sanjay Yadav, who was heavily drunk, repeatedly hit Thippeswamy in the chest with his fist. This incident was recorded in the CTV camera of the factory. On the basis of the CCTV footage, the police arrested Sanjay. A case of murder was registered in Peenya police station in this respect.
