Panaji, Dec 30 (IANS): The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Goa Police on Monday arrested a Portuguese national for possession of synthetic drugs worth Rs 22.40 lakh, a statement said.
The accused Antonio Manuel Faris Ramos (42) was arrested at the Margao railway station in South Goa district by the ANC squad on Monday morning.
"We have seized 101 grams of MDMA, 110 grams cocaine and 240 grams charas all worth Rs. 22.40 lakh, the police statement said.
The accused has been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
