Kasargod: DYFI activists come under attack - Three hospitalized

Kasargod, Dec 30: A gang launched attack on activists of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) on the night of Sunday, December 29. The incident happened at Manjeshwar.

The injured have been identified as Imtiaz, Kalandar and Irfan, all from Pavoor. They are being treated in the cooperative hospital at Kumble.

A gang having about 15 members reportedly asked them their names, after which they began to hit them with cudgel and iron rod, it is said. The injured men said that the attackers were workers of the BJP and Sangh Parivar.

Manjeshwar police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
