Panaji, Dec 30: Former CM Digambar Kamat on Sunday urged the current Goa CM Pramod Sawant to tackle the drug menace plaguing the state. Kamat stressed the need for government action before the 'Bhasmasura of drugs converts Goa into ashes.'
With the increase of drug abuse and the fact that even the remote areas are getting tapped, the cause for concern is the easy access of it.
In the past week, after the two deaths outside the EDM venue in Vagator, Kamat stated that it was high time that the government took the issue seriously and urged people across party lines to stand united in the war against drugs
