Mangaluru, Dec 27: In an incident that occurred at Manchila of Thokkottu Olapete near Ullal in the city, a sorcerer attacked a person accompanying a couple, who had come to seek his services, with lethal weapons.
This attack took place on the late night of Tuesday, December. Jabbar (40), a resident of Hosangadi is the person who is injured in the attack. Sadiq, resident of Kumbala in Kasargod district of Kerala is the accused.
Accused Sadiq used to reside in a rented house at Manchila and do sorcery. Aboobacker and Fatima couple had come to his house in order counter the black magic that is done to them by someone else. Jabbar also accompanied the couple to the house of Sadiq, the sorcerer. However, Sadiq attacked Jabbar with lethal weapons.
Police arrested Sadiq and produced him in court. He is sent to judicial custody.
