Mangaluru: VHP international session begins in city on Thursday

Bengaluru, Dec 26: Vishwa Hindu Parishad's (VHP) central board of trustees and international executive committee are holding sessions in the city from December 26 to 30. As a prelude to this, a meeting of high level leaders of the Parishad was held on Wednesday December 25 at Sangh Niketan.

VHP international president Vishnu Sadashiva Kokje, international working president Alok Kumar, general secretary Milind Parande, organizing general secretary Vinayaka Rao Deshpande, joint secretaries Swami Vijnanandaji, Ragavulu and others participated and held discussions.

About 400 delegates from India and abroad have arrived to take part in the session. About 150 among them are from countries like USA, Germany, Australia, Malaysia and others.

The main session will be inaugurated by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade, on December 27 at 10 am. At 6.30 pm on December 28, 'Sneha Milan' programme will be held which will be presided over by chancellor of Nitte University N Vinay Hegde.
