CM Yediyurappa to tour Dakshina Kannada, Udupi districts on Dec 25

Mangaluru, Dec 24: Karnataka chief minister (CM) B S Yediyurappa, is slated to tour Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts tomorrow.

He will be arriving at the airport here at 10.15 am on Wednesday, December 25. He will take part in the flood-lit Koti-Chennaya 17th annual Kambala being held at Ontikatte Moodbidri at 11.45 am and also preside over a function being held for dedicating the newly cared statue of Veerarani Abbakka there.

He will go to Udupi and participate in the 'Chinnara Masa (month of the tiny tots)' being organized at 2.30 under the aegis of Paryaya Sri Palimaru Math at Sri Krishna Math there and also inaugurate a toilet complex newly built under 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' there. At 3.20 pm, he will participate in Sahasranama Navakunda Ganapati Puja organized by Kutyaru Yaga Sanghatana Samiti at Vidyadayini higher primary school, Kutyaru.

At 4.50 pm, he will take part in the centenary festival of government higher primary school at Polipu in Kaup taluk which is being organized by the department of secondary education. On that occasion, diamond jubilee of the high school section and golden jubilee of college section will also be held in which the CM will be present.

He is scheduled to take part in 'Prakashabhinandana' programme being held at Goldfinch City, Bangra Kulur in the city at 6.15 pm. This programme is being held to honour social reformer and progressive thinker Prakash Shetty.
