Bengaluru: Kempegowda Airport to celebrate Christmas festive cheer 'Season of Smiles'

Bengaluru, Dec 20: With Christmas-time round the corner, the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru decked up to spread the festive cheer, 'Season of Smiles', for the sixth year in succession. For the occasion, the terminal at the airport will experience a festive makeover. The Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) - operator of the Kempegowda International Airport - will launch the ‘Season of Smiles’, an annual entertainment and shopping extravaganza.

This flagship event at the Airport has already commenced on December 18, 2019, and will go on till January 15, 2020. 

For the second consecutive year, Season of Smiles is being held for an entire month, giving passengers endless opportunities to win prizes.



Season of Smiles aims to spread the festive cheer among passengers and guests who visit the Airport during the holiday season.

There is an exciting line-up of activities that will create a wonderful atmosphere and ensure a memorable experience for passengers and visitors. It hopes to spread joy among the people of Bengaluru.

Brightening the ambience, the terminal will be adorned with festive decorations, such as winter-themed Christmas installations, illuminated trees and selfie zones to draw passengers into the festive mood. It will be a musical extravaganza from December 20 to 31 with carols, choirs, live bands at the quad by the Kempegowda International Airport.

Passengers will be able to enjoy Christmas Carols and sing along while waiting for their flights.

For visitors to the Airport, specially curated Christmas menus will be available at all food and beverages outlets. Through this event, BIAL wants to ensure that every passenger and visitor experience the joy of the season.
