Kundapur: Christmas celebrated with Chaitanya special school children

Kundapur, Dec 20: Brahmavar Orthodox Syrian Konkani welfare trust members celebrated Christmas with children of Kundapur Chaitanya special school.

Cake, biscuits and chocolates were distributed to children. A cheque was handed over to Chaitanya school as donation.

Louis Fernandes of the trust said that the service to special children is commendable. “Service to specially abled children is not easy,” he said.



Trustee of the trust, Roshni Olivera said that nine likeminded people have formed the trust. “We support pro society organizations such as this and help people deprived of basic necessities by humane work. Chaitanya organization does noble work. We have held programmes with these children several times,” he said.

Orthodox Syrian Konkani welfare trust’s Denis D’Silva, Solomon D’Silva, Moses Vivis, Cyril D’Souza, Michael Rodrigues, Milton D’Souza, Thomas D’Souza, Chaitanya special school’s Shobha Soans, Sujatha and Leelavati were present.
