Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Dec 20: Former chief secretary (CS) of Karnataka, Ratna Prabha, has been appointed as the chairperson of Skill Development Authority. The state government has issued an order to that effect.

Ratna Prabha, after her retirement, had joined the BJP. During Lok Sabha election, there were rumours that she would fight on BJP ticket against Mallikarjun Kharge of the Congress in Kalaburagi constituency. But the party preferred Umesh Jadhav, who resigned as MLA, as its candidate there. During the bypoll in Chincholi assembly seat, Ratna Prabha had campaigned for the party.
