Mangaluru: NMAMIT hosts FDP on AI, PYTHON for Mechanical Engineering Research

Mangaluru, Dec 19: The Mechanical Dept of NMAMIT organized an international level five-day faculty development programme (FDP) on 'Modelling fundamentals and PYTHON for Numerical Simulation and Applied Artificial Intelligence for Mechanical Engineering systems Research' between December 18 to 22.

Dr Anand M Shivapuji, senior scientist from IISc Bengaluru was the chief guest and resource person for the programme. Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar principal, NMAMIT during his inaugural speech highlighted the importance of the Artificial Intelligence and PYTHON programme for the latest knowledge in Mechanical Engineering. Vice-principals, Dr I Ramesh Mithanthaya and Dr Srinivas Rao B R were present during the inaugural function.

Dr Shashikanth Karinka, HoD, Mechanical Engineering department welcomed the gathering. Dr Narasimha Bailkere rendered the vote of thanks. The co co-ordinators of the programme Dr Nithin Kumar and Dr Rashmi P Shetty were present during this occasion. About 50 participants from various engineering colleges including participants from Ethiopia had participated.
