Bengaluru, Dec 18: Congress MLC C M Ibrahim, has expressed unhappiness about not making him the leader of the opposition in the legislative council by his party.
He accused state Congress in-charge K C Venugopal and other leaders, of not siding with him during the selection. He added that because of this neglect, he chose not to take part in campaigning for the Congress during the recent bypoll.
Speaking to media persons after meeting former chief minister, Siddaramaiah and wishing him early recovery, he observed that his was services were needed for the party and he had to work hard to get votes for his party, but he does not have any powers to take decisions. "We are the ones who deliver speeches. If something happens, we create enemies for ourselves. But for enjoying power and occupying seas of power, there are others in the party. This is not fair," he opined.
