Udupi: Nirmala English Medium School Brahmavara annual Sports meet closing day held

Udupi, Dec 16: The annual sports meet closing ceremony of Nirmala English Medium School Brahmavara was held at the school premises. The atmosphere of the school took on a festive look with immense interest interest observed among the students, teachers and parents.

The guests were escorted by the band. The programme commenced with a prayer dance. The chief guest of the day, O R Prakash M A Bed. KES DEPA BEO of Brahamavar. Guest of honour, Fr Vincent Crasta, secretary of CESU, Udupi, Fr Victor Fernandes, correspondent of NEMS, Raviprakash Gonsalves, vice-president of Parish Pastoral committee, Veeranna S C, president of PTA Committee, principal, Fr Joslie Francis D'Silva of NEMS were on the dais.



Sr Sanjitha welcomed the gathering. The chief guest addressed the gathering. During his speech, he appreciated the school management and he graced the occasion. The guest of honour, Fr Vincent Crasta cheered up the students by his motivational speech and graced the winners of the sports contests with awards and medals. Soon after the principal read out the school annual report describing the achievement of school in academics and sports. The prizes were distributed to the winning teams and also honoured the individual champions. Red group conquered the overall championship.

Fr Vincent Crasta appreciated their hard work and the team spirit and honoured them with the trophy. The programme came to end with the vote of thanks by Savitha, followed by cultural display.
