Udupi: Odisha origin man dies under suspicious circumstances

Udupi, Dec 16: A person of Odisha origin died under suspicious circumstances in a rented home near Badanidiyoor panchayat office near Malpe here in the evening of Saturday December 14.

The deceased was Sanjay Diwakar Pradhan (39).

Sushma Pradhan from Odisha, her daughter, Pooja, and son, Chandan, were living in a rented house belonging to Srinivas Ganiga. Sanjay Diwakar Pradhan reportedly was the younger brother of Sushma's husband. Sushma Pradhan said that Sanjay hanged himself from the beam supporting the roof of her bathroom.

Srinivas Ganiga, in his complaint, said that the mode of death and reason behind the death are not known. Malpe police, who have registered a case of unnatural death, are probing.
