Mangaluru, Dec 16: Prof Anantha Narayan V S, deputy director, National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), along with Dr Biju R Mohan, HOD of Information Technology department, inaugurated a five-day AICTE sponsored workshop on block chain technology here at NITK on Monday, December 16.

The workshop is organised by Information Technology department of NITK.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Anantha said, "NITK is celebrating its diamond jubilee from August 2019 to August 2020. As part of these celebrations, a large number of academic and technical events are planned and this workshop is one among them.

“The workshop is very relevant and effective programme. Participants will learnt a lot from this topic and I expect some promising statement by the end of the workshop,” he said.

Dr Biju said, "The schedule lined up in the five-day block chain workshop look promising and will be a good use for cyber security.
