Mangaluru: Sangeeth Bharathi Foundation holds musical dance programme

Mangaluru, Dec 15: Sangeeth Bharathi Foundation, Mangaluru, presented a mesmerising musical dance programme at Sharada Vidyalaya, Kodialbail, recently. 

The programme was inaugurated by the manager of Canara Bank head office, Yogesh Acharya.  Vice president of Sangeeth Bharathi Foundation Narendra N Nayak, DGM of Canara Bank Bala Mukund Sharma, advisor of Sharada Educational Institution Dr Leela Upadhya, renowned cardiologist Dr K Mohan Pai, the founder of Mani Krishna Swamy Academy Nithyananda Rao, co-founder of Sangeetha Bharathi Foundation Radhakrishna Rao Parody, Ankush N Nayak and Karunakar Balkur HOD of Kannada, Expert PU College, were present.



This programme, melodic rhythm, was a blend of music and the beautiful dance form kathak. The Padmashree awardee Pandit Vijay Ghate from Pune played the tabla, Ustad Rafique Khan from Mangaluru played the sitar and Suranjan Khandalkar from Pune played the harmonium. Kathak was performed by Sheethal Kolwalkar.
