Mangaluru: Father Muller institutions celebrate Christmas with splendid event

Mangaluru, Dec 14: Father Muller Charitable institutions celebrated Christmas with a splendid event at the premises of Father Muller Hospital here on Saturday, December 14.

President of Indian Medical Association Mangaluru zone, Dr M Annaya Kulal released Christmas bulletin and calendar. Dr Kulal was felicitated by the management of Father Muller Charitable Institutions.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Annaya Kulal said, "It has been a great privilege to be part of the Christmas celebration at Father Muller institution. Christmas is the time where we greet each other, share our pains, sorrows and engage in charity towards the underprivileged. 

"Mangaluru is known to be an educational hub and the Christian community has contributed a lot to the field of education by laying down a strong foundation," Dr Kulal added.

Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Fr Richard Coelho, welcomed the gathering.

The administrator Fr Ajith Menezes, Fr Rudolph Ravi D Sa, dean, Father Muller Medical College, Dr Jayaprakash Alva and others were present.

The formal function was followed by a dance programme by Father Muller Hospital Thumbay, College of Speech and Hearing, Christmas tableaux by College of Nursing, another dance by College of Allied Health Sciences and a mime show by Homeopathic Medical College.
