Mangaluru: 23 Expert students qualify for KVPY final interview

Mangaluru, Dec 12: Based on the exam held on November 3, 23 students of Expert PU College, here qualified for the final round of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Examination.

Samyuktha Vinu Nair, Shreyas S, H C Gourish, Dhiraj S Kori, Varun Gowda A B, Bhuvan R J, Shanshank Y B, Rakshita D Bhirade, Kruthik K S, Hitesh J P, Aditya Umesh, Prajwal D K, Ashutosh Prakash Kalyan Shetti, Supreeth Neelappa Bevoor, Adarsh Bevinakatti L, Anush Babu Shetty, Sumanth Jagadish Desai, Tejas R, Manzar Mohammed Hussain, Prerana G Bhat, Ajay Kadri, Rishikesh N and I PU student Raj Aniketh Reddy V S are the proud achievers.

The selected students will now face the final interview round. If selected, they can continue their education in the basic Science stream and will be awarded with scholarships ranging from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,12,000 per annum. The selected students will be able to study in the prestigious educational institutes such as Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research etc and many more. About 50,000 students from all over the country wrote the written test earlier this year, of which only about 1500 students have been selected for the final interview.

The chairman of Expert Group of Institutions, Prof Narendra L Nayak congratulated the qualified students on behalf of the college and its management.
