Leena Britto appointed chief officer of Bantwal municipality

Bantwal, Dec 12: Leena Britto, who was functioning as manager in Puttur city municipal council so far, has been appointed by the government as the chief officer of Bantwal town municipality.

Rekha J Shetty, who was discharging duties as the chief officer here, was transferred to Karkala about two months back. The post remained vacant since then. Leelavathi, who was the manager of the municipality, had worked for some time as acting chief officer. Later, Ullal municipal chief office, Rayappa, was given additional charge of Bantwal municipality.

The current government has posted Leena Britto as chief officer in Bantwal. In the past too she had worked in this post.
