Mangaluru, Dec 11: Vishwas Shiva Kumar created a new world record for the fastest time to solve Rubik's cube with beat-boxing on November 4.

Vishwas Shiva Kumar hails from Bengaluru and is the son of couple Shiva Kumar Hulipura and Shobha Shivakumar.

Vishwas is studying in Besant evening college and had applied for the exclusive world record for the fastest time to solve Rubik's cube while beatboxing on November 4.

Vishwas had attempted for the record and got in to the record books. His attempt was witnessed by the principal and director of Swaroopa Adhyeyana Kendra. This record has never been set before in any of the record books and it was attempted for the first time in the whole world and the time taken for this was just one minute and 10 seconds.

Vishwas started beat-boxing two years ago and learnt it by watching other beat-boxers on YouTube. One day he saw a guy beat-boxing and solving a Rubik's cube and got inspired.

“This inspired me to start beat-boxing and simultaneously solve a Rubik cube. My family and friends supported me to set this record,” said Vishwas Kumar.

Vishwas Shiva Kumar says, "I came to Mangaluru for my studies and credit goes to Gopadkar, who runs Swaroopa Adhyeyana Kendra, in making this possible. He made me realize my true potential and that is how I started believing in myself and started to learn beat boxing. I want to set many more records and make my mother nation India to be proud of me.”
