Mangaluru: Pedestrian hit by motor bike at Padavinangady, killed

Mangaluru, Dec 11: Sadananda (40), residing in a rented house in Pachchanady, who was walking near Perlaguri Cross in Padavinangady in the city, died after a motorbike hit him. His end came on Tuesday, December 10.

Sadananda was a native of Moodbidri. He was walking towards his house and was standing near the divider near Perlaguri Cross along with his brother-in-law, Rajesh to cross the road, when a motorbike knocked him down. Sadananda, who fell to the road, suffered serious injuries to head and limbs. He was taken to a private hospital where he was provided first aid and sent home.

On Tuesday morning, Sadananda complained of severe chest pain. He was admitted into the district Wenlock Hospital. There, he breathed his last without responding to treatment.

Traffic (north) police station personnel have registered a case against Kaushik Raj, who was driving the motorbike in question.
