Udupi, Dec 10: Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat visited Jeddu, Pejamangooru road in Kokkarne, on Tuesday, December 10.
As the road is damaged the MLA had assured during last Vidhan Sabha elections that he will get it repaired for normal flow of traffic. Therefore, he had utilized Rs 43 lac grant and set the road repair works in motion. But they had faced hurdles from forest department for it.
In the developments, the MLA has personally visited the spot, stood up for the people and provided solution to the obstacles from the forest department. He has said that he will challenge any obstacles and get the road repaired swiftly.
Local panchayat members, party leaders and local forest department officials were present.
