Mangaluru branch of ICAI to hold two-day national conference from Dec 12

Mangaluru, Dec 10: Mangaluru branch of ICAI has been serving Members ( CAs ) & CA Students for the last 49 years & having 700 plus CAs & 3700 plus CA Students enrolled. ICAI Mangalore Branch is organizing 2 days National Conference ‘Avirath’ on December 12 and 13 at Town Hall. The tagline of the conference is ‘Perpetual Progression, Perfect Professionalism’. The conference consists of 8 technical sessions on most relevant topics.viz; Income Tax, Digitization, Companies Act, FEMA, NRI Taxation GST, IBC, HUF Taxation, Successive Planning & 4th Industrial Revolution.

The conference will be inaugurated on December 12 at 9:30 a.m by Smt P V Bharathi, MD & CEO, Corporation Bank. M Venkatesh, MD MRPL Mangaluru, will be the chief guest for the inaugural session. ICAI, New Delhi Central Council Members CA Rajesh Sharma, CA Prasanna Kumar D, CA Dayanivas Sharma & ICAI-SIRC Chairman CA Jomon K George will be present in the Inaugural Function.

In addition to the above, a health session will be conducted by well-known psychiatrist Dr R Raghuram, Bengaluru. This session will be presided by Dr Bharath Shetty, MLA Mangaluru North. Also cultural evening will be held on December 12 at 6:30 pm by CA Family members and CA Students which will be inaugurated by Sri D Vedavyas Kamath, MLA, Mangalore South.

After all the Techinical Session Valedictory Ceremony will be conducted at 5:00pm on December 13. B Shivaram, DGM & regional head, Bank of Baroda Mangaluru, will be the chief guest. This programme has been sponsored by MRPL, Bank of Baroda, Quick Books, Sharekhan, Karnataka bank, Shobha developers, Corporation Bank and many other institutions. The national conference will be attended by members in practice and industry from all over Karnataka an other parts of India.
