Udupi: Catholic sabha extends helping hand to John Monteiro's family

Udupi, Dec 6: Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh (R) member visited the family of Joseph Monteiro, who was in the prison of Saudi Arabia and died in the same prison.
The Catholic Sabha handed over Rs 10,000 to the family and assured them help toward the education of the children.

Joseph Monterio who working as an AC technician in Saudi Arabia was arrested for unknown reasons and was in prison for nearly five years. He died before the completion of his punishment tenure. The dead body of the deceased was received by his family nine months after his death. The family of Joseph Monteiro is now staying in a home in Udupi. He is survived by his wife and two children. Due to the death of the family's breadwinner, eduction of the children is also discontinued. Catholic Sabha has promised to support the family.

Alwyn Quadros, president Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Santhosh Cornelio, Secretary Alphonse D'costa Elroy Kiran Crasto Dr. Gerald Pinto Mary D'Souza Robert D'Souza and family members of John Monteiro were present.
